    Facility Technician I

    **Shift/Pay:** Monday–Friday | $23.00 - $29.00 per hour

    Summary

    The Facility Technician I is responsible for supporting facility operations by performing essential tasks such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, filter press operation, and proper inventory warehousing. This role ensures compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) segregation requirements and company safety standards. The Facility Technician I also assists with offloading vans, submitting waste tracking paperwork, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform basic facility operations including drum movement, drum opening, tank farm truck loading/unloading, filter press operations, and warehousing in compliance with DOT segregation requirements.

    • Offload vans and assist with material handling as needed.

    • Operate forklifts safely, performing daily safety checks and documentation when required.

    • Complete and submit all paperwork associated with waste tracking movements.

    • Maintain compliance with facility-specific permit standards and safety regulations.

    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safe operations.

    • Support production goals while adhering to company policies and procedures.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.

    • 0–3 years of relevant experience in an industrial, warehouse, or facility setting.

    • 40-Hour OSHA Training (HAZWOPER) required.

    • Forklift training preferred (can be obtained on the job).

    • Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs., frequent standing, bending, and climbing.

    • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

    • Ability to use scanning applications for dumping and pumping operations.
