As a DPI Project Management Apprentice on our IT team, you’ll have the opportunity to grow & develop project management skills while making an impact, supporting an area of focus to mitigate risk. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efforts are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
This is a 12-month program and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.
What you’ll learn & achieve:
+ Responsible for managing small projects and tasks
+ Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities
+ Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines
+ Support project documentation, meeting coordination, and status reporting
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project and process alignment and execution
+ Identify and escalate risks or issues to project leads
+ Assist in the project’s budget and financial performance and escalate accordingly
+ Monitor project milestones and prepare summary reports for leadership
+ Adheres to program, project, and intake process governance (controls)
+ Support intake and prioritization processes for new requests
+ Maintain the project portfolio dashboard and reporting tools
+ Coordinate and collaborate with request stakeholders to ensure process adherence and execution
+ Assist in resource tracking and capacity planning across projects and cross-functional teams
+ Monitor portfolio-level KPIs and prepare summary reports for leadership
+ Ensure alignment of projects with strategic goals and governance standards
+ Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
+ Performs other duties as directed.

+ Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable stepping in to create order and process
+ Familiarity with project and portfolio management Tools (e.g., Visio, MS Project) is a plus
What we offer:
+ Total Rewards: The hourly rate for this role is $30.00. This apprenticeship is a 12-month program and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.
