**Position Purpose:** Supervise the daily operations of the credentialing function and provide guidance and performance feedback to staff.

*The Supervisor, Credentialing position is primarily remote. Candidates that reside within the continental US are eligible for consideration. *

Responsibilities:

+ Oversee the credentialing and re-credentialing process for assigned business units.

+ Oversee staff including performance management activities

+ Serve as the subject matter expert for activities related to credentialing.

+ Investigate and resolve complex credentialing issues.

+ Be an active participant in departmental planning initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and overall departmental effectiveness.

+ Provide training to team members to ensure accurate and timely and credentialing of providers.

+ Prepare materials and facilitate Credentialing Committee meetings

+ Collaborate on facilitation of Clean Committee process.

+ Monitoring performance to ensure credentialing quality benchmarks are met.

+ Assist with and as needed, represent Credentialing during preparation and reviews associated with audit activity (e.g., NCQA, EQRO, Internal Audit).

+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within and across departmental lines.

Highly Preferred Skills:

+ 3+ years of management experience

+ Prior experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment

+ Working knowledge of health insurance

**Education/Experience:** Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of combined management and provider data management, credentialing or healthcare operations (i.e. claims processing, billing, provider relations or contracting) experience, preferably in a managed care or insurance environment.Pay Range: $55,100.00 - $99,000.00 per year
