    Basic Job Functions:

    The role of the Process Control Level 1 Technician is to work with the Process Control, Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance and Production teams to maintain and optimize the Hot/Cold Mill process control equipment. This will include using engineering principles, algorithms and techniques to trouble-shoot and improve both the process and equipment and to develop/implement future improvement plans. This will include both hardware and software and may require additional support outside normal business hours.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor Electrical Engineering Degree, equivalent education, or equivalent experience.

    + Four years industrial maintenance experience

    + Ability to rapidly understand complex control systems.

    + Proven ability to take ownership for complex projects.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Previous Hot/Cold sheet rolling knowledge/experience.

    + Four year or Advanced engineering degree.
