Our client, a leader in building management and maintenance services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Commercial Building Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the Engineering and Technical Services department, supporting the maintenance and repair of multiple buildings and systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will enable you to thrive within the organization.

**Job Title:** Commercial Building Maintenance Technician

**Location:** Eureka, CA

Pay Range: $25/hr. - $28/hr.

What's the Job?

+ Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.

+ Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.

+ Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.

+ Support energy management by ensuring all systems operate efficiently.

+ Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

What's Needed?

+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of relevant experience.

+ Valid Driver’s License.

+ Ability to meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying loads of 50 lbs. or more.

+ Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

+ Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
