    Overview

     

    Element has an opportunity for a **Dynamics Test Technician** to work in our Vibration Testing Lab performing shock and vibration testing. Ideally we are seeking someone with experience operating vibration shakers OR we will consider trade school experience in the electronics test field. This is a hands-on position. You will roll up your sleeves and must know how to use hand and power tools.

     

    Pay range: $25-30/hr

    Responsibilities

    + Setup and Run Vibration tests

    + Data collection utilizing control systems and accelerometers

    + Troubleshooting test set ups

    + Operating Vibration Controllers

    + Electrical set ups

    + Reporting

    Skills / Qualifications

    + Experience in dynamics or testing related to Element

    + Element will consider a recent Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with relative coursework, projects or internship experience or related electrical or mechanical testing (material, environmental, dynamics/shock/vibe)

    + Must be able to operate hand/power tools

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Excellent computer skills required; intermediate knowledge level of

    + Microsoft Excel experience is required

    Physical Demands:

    + Frequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate)

    + Lifting requirements: lifting <50 lbs. often and >50 lbs. on occasion

    + Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time

    + Ability to lift 50+lbs periodically
