Job Title: Machine Operator in Palmyra $20-$22

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and running manual engine lathes, using calipers and micrometers to measure products, and ensuring compliance with manufacturing and safety practices. You will utilize hoists and cranes for material handling, maintain communication with the production team, and read and understand standard operating procedures and customer requirements. A focus on delivering quality output is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate manual engine lathes.

+ Measure products using calipers and micrometers.

+ Comply with manufacturing and safety practices.

+ Use hoists and cranes for handling materials.

+ Maintain effective communication with the production team.

+ Read and understand standard operating procedures and customer requirements.

+ Ensure quality output in all tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in using lathe machines.

+ Experience in machine operation.

+ Skill in using micrometers and calipers.

+ 2+ years of machining experience.

+ Basic math skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to use measuring tools.

+ Willingness to learn and adapt.
