Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Superintendent to manage day-to-day on-site operations for commercial projects. The role involves coordinating and supervising subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding in commercial construction and a proven ability to lead field operations effectively, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

+ Manage day-to-day on-site construction operations for commercial projects.

+ Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.

+ Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.

+ Monitor project schedules and adjust work as needed to meet deadlines.

+ Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to design.

+ Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation.

+ Collaborate with the Project Manager to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.

+ Lead site meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

+ Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

+ Strong knowledge of commercial building systems, codes, and safety standards.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

+ Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred.

+ OSHA 30 certification preferred.
