    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, refurbishing, and upgrading production equipment, including punch presses, press brakes, lathes, mills, cranes, forklifts, and building systems. You will solve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control problems while reading and interpreting technical documentation such as drawings, service manuals, and electrical diagrams.

    Responsibilities

    + Repair, refurbish, and upgrade production equipment.

    + Solve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control problems.

    + Read and interpret technical documentation such as drawings, service manuals, and electrical diagrams.

    + Rebuild complex components such as gear drives, pumps, and hydraulic valves.

    + Research technical information and specifications.

    + Document and organize repair records.

    + Communicate repair plans with affected production team members.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of experience in hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair.

    + Experience troubleshooting machines and equipment to the component level.

    + Experience troubleshooting PLC/controls on equipment.

    + Proficiency in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.

    + Ability to communicate effectively and operate in a team environment.

    + Proficient computer skills in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in electrical troubleshooting.

    + Mechanical troubleshooting.

    + PLC programming.

    + Facilities maintenance.

    + Industrial and facilities maintenance experience.

    + Electronic and mechanical repair.

    + Refurbishing skills.

    + Preventative and corrective maintenance.

    + Blueprint reading.

    + Component level troubleshooting.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment includes a large office and manufacturing building located in Trafford, PA. The facility has undergone multiple expansions, including additional land for parking. The Technician will spend most of their time on the shop floor working on machinery, requiring comfort with wearing steel toes and other necessary PPE. It is an industrial facility with various machines, and the Technician should be comfortable in such a setting.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Trafford, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
