    Adecco is hiring for a client in Lewisville, TX

     

    We are seeking a Food Plant Facility Maintenance Technician in Lewisville!

    Day to day duties-

    + Repair floors, walls and ceilings

    + General carpentry/sheetrock, painting, caulking, plumbing etc.

    + Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized tech.

    + Minor electrical/ lights, plugs, fans, changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks on doors, and other tasks.

    + Able to work weekends and overtime per business demand.

    + Significant walking along with other means of mobility. Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

    + Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and /or pull, and frequently lift 40 pounds or more.

    + Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery and building.

    + Must have basic tools

    + Able to withstand extreme heat and cold and work in variety of temperature and humidity conditions.

    + Able to read, write, and speak English.

    Requirements

    + Ability to work 6am-4pm with after hours and weekends on occasion

    + Ability to pass a drug test

    + Hands on approach and willingness to be proactive and involved

    + Cooperative attitude and willingness to work in a team environment

    Desired Skills

    + Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance repair and multi craft repairs.

    + Carpentry and Plumbing

    Schedule

    + 10-hour shift

    + Overtime

    Weekend availability

    + High School education GED required

    + Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

    **Pay Details:** $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
