Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products during the manufacturing process. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, checks, and tests, as well as maintaining and updating documentation. This role also involves coaching and motivating employees, training new Inspectors and Quality Auditors, and covering various areas within the Quality Department when needed.

Responsibilities

+ Perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during product manufacturing.

+ Coach and motivate employees to achieve high performance standards.

+ Maintain and update necessary paperwork.

+ Ensure the cleanliness of the work area at all times.

+ Train new Inspectors and Quality Auditors.

+ Provide coverage for all areas of the Quality Department, including Quality Auditing, Inspection processes, and Forklift operations if needed.

+ Manage the Rework/Hold Area.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Inspection and Quality Control processes.

+ Experience with Calipers, Micrometers, and Gages.

+ Strong skills in Quality Inspection and Visual Inspection.

+ Ability to conduct Quality Checks during Production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to perform tasks involving pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion.

+ Capability to stand for long periods.

+ Strong teamwork skills.

This is a Contract position based out of Coldwater, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
