These departments work together to ensure our customers receive high quality products and customer service. Our teams focus on building, testing, and repairing products, building and integrating larger scale solutions, and providing both on-site and remote technical support to our customers. We are looking for a Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist (EHS) to join us in our pursuit to provide our customers with the highest quality products and world-class support.

What You’ll Work On
Under the direction of the Quality Director, the EHS Specialist develops, implements, manages, and monitors safety programs, policies, and procedures to meet OSHA and other safety compliance standards. They conduct inspections, incident investigation and management, provide training on EH&S risks, and ensure proper documentation maintenance, contributing to a positive culture of employee wellness and safety regulatory compliance. The EHS Specialist also oversees activities related to fire prevention, hazardous waste management, ISO 14001 certification, Clean Water Permit, and injury management.
You'll Support Your Team by Performing the Following Key Tasks
+ Conduct safety inspections in company facilities to ensure compliance with current safety standards.
+ Review current safety procedures to find areas that need improvement.
+ Develop new or enhanced safety procedures to reduce or eliminate safety risks.
+ Conduct job safety inspections and complete job safety analysis.
+ Conduct safety training sessions for new and current staff.
+ Champion employee involvement to identify and address safety concerns.
+ Investigate incidents, make recommendations to eliminate reoccurrences, and help follow-up on corrective actions.
+ Maintain documentation and records including safety training, incident reports, chemical inventories, SDS documents, and safety committee meetings.
+ May consult on reasonable accommodation for ADA compliance.
+ Ensure all permits, RCRA manifests, and other environmental documentation is current and reflects company operations.
+ Manage waste, including hazardous, electronic, battery, solder, and recycling.
+ Maintain documentation and processes to fulfill the ISO 14001:2015 standard.
+ Maintain the safety programs and manage injury cases.
+ Work together with the Safety Committee to ensure continual progress.
What We're Looking For
+ Bachelor’s degree in health/safety or related field.
+ 1+ years of experience in the safety field, or equivalent education.
+ Thorough understanding of governmental safety regulations and industry safety standards.
+ Knowledge of first aid procedures and tools.
+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment
40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Weekend work may be required. Travel may be required.
Physical Requirements
This position requires sitting for extended periods of time, use of hands, and occasional reaching. May include forklift certification and ability to lift 45 lbs. Requires the ability to see.
