    Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. You will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of tank equipment, wiring, and conduits. This role involves repairing units, parts, and materials, as well as reading and understanding schedules and workflow requirements. You will also inspect assemblies for conformance to design criteria, organize tools, maintain an orderly work area, and write maintenance work orders.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform mechanical assembly of tank equipment, wiring, and conduit.

    + Conduct repairs on units, parts, and materials.

    + Read and understand schedule and workflow requirements.

    + Retrieve materials from storage for assembly purposes.

    + Inspect assemblies to ensure conformance to design criteria.

    + Maintain organized tools and a tidy work area.

    + Write maintenance work orders as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly using basic hand and power tools.

    + 2+ years of experience in blueprint reading.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.

    + Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 1+ year of crane operation experience (preferred, not required).

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a large, clean, and organized manufacturing setting. The position offers a 2nd shift from 3pm to 11pm and a 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am, with training conducted on the 1st shift from 7am to 3pm for 2 to 6 months. Overtime is usually required every other Saturday, while Sundays are never mandatory. The team consists of 60 assemblers per shift. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes, jeans, and safety glasses.

    This is a Permanent position based out of WAUKESHA, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $60923.20 - $60923.20/yr.

     

    Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability (eligible to enroll immediately)

    401(k) plan with company match (immediate vesting)

    13 paid holidays per year

    80 hours of accrued vacation annually

     

    $1.25 premium for 2nd and 3rd Shifts

     

    $125 annual reimbursement for safety shoes and safety glasses (each)
