    Summary

    A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced **Maintenance Technician** to support operations at its Warner Robins facility. This role is responsible for the **installation, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery** , with an emphasis on **CNC equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC-controlled systems** . The Maintenance Technician will also perform fabrication, preventative maintenance, and safety-focused improvements to keep production equipment running efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot, repair, clean, and maintain CNC, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment.

    + Fabricate parts and equipment based on blueprints, sketches, or instructions; maintain records of repairs and preventative maintenance.

    + Install and set up new machines, making adjustments or modifications as needed.

    + Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for CNC and production equipment.

    + Perform welding (MIG and stick) and apply basic metallurgy in maintenance and fabrication work.

    + Assist with machine moves, installations, and layout changes.

    + Recommend and implement solutions to improve safety and reliability of equipment.

    + Perform electrical maintenance and modifications within non-journeyman scope.

    + Consistently follow safety standards and maintain a high level of dependability.

    + Work extended hours (50+ hours per week as needed) during projects, installations, or downtime.

    Qualifications

    + 3+ years of maintenance experience with **mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems** , with strong emphasis on CNC machinery.

    + Skilled in troubleshooting, installation, and repair of complex equipment.

    + Ability to read and interpret **blueprints, schematics, and ladder diagrams** .

    + Hands-on experience with **HMI controls, PLCs, welding, and fabrication** .

    + Proficient with standard hand tools, precision measurement devices, and computer-based maintenance systems.

    + Strong problem-solving ability and self-motivation; able to work independently or as part of a team.

    + High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications a plus.

    + Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license preferred but not required.

    Working Conditions

    + Full-time role with 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, typically between 5:00am–5:00pm.

    + Work is performed in a **manufacturing shop environment** , not climate controlled.

    + Exposure to heat, dust, noise, fumes, and vibration is common.

    + Regular standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 100 pounds may be required.

    + This is a **safety-sensitive position** .
