• Lab Technician

    Actalent (Woonsocket, RI)


    Description

    • Executes written laboratory experiments to test prototype sensors, meters, methodologies, and reagents.

    • Documents all work in laboratory notebooks.

    • Performs basic data graphics and other data analysis under the guidance of S r staff.

    • Responsible for managing scheduled and long-term experiments.

    • Maintains the laboratory by stocking lab consumables, keeping equipment and work areas clean, and performing routine maintenance and inspection of equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    • 1-2 years of experience in a professional laboratory.

    • Associate’s Degree or better in chemistry or similar.

    • 2 years of college-level chemistry coursework and laboratory courses required.

    • Proficient in writing laboratory reports

    • Proficient in data manipulation and graphing in Excel. Strong Excel skills preferred.

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Effective and professional communication skills

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
