Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead multiple interior construction projects. This role requires a professional who can ensure timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will coordinate with clients, designers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all projects align with client expectations and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

+ Manage multiple interior construction projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

+ Coordinate with clients, designers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.

+ Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.

+ Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.

+ Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

+ Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

+ Ensure all materials and resources are available and delivered on schedule.

+ Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure a high level of customer service.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (preferred).

+ 3+ years of experience in project management within the commercial interiors or construction industry.

+ Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and building codes.

+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

+ Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Procore, or similar.

+ Ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively.

Work Environment

The work environment is laid-back with a focus on work-life balance. The office is a union shop, and employees enjoy summer Fridays at 2 pm. The company encourages growth opportunities, as evidenced by the head of estimating who started as an intern. Employees work five days a week from 7 am to 3:30 pm in their own office, equipped with a laptop and cell phone.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raritan, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $52.88/hr.
