Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who will play a crucial role in designing and drafting for spacecraft, structures, MGSE, actuators, and mechanisms. The role requires parts design and conducting analyses to meet internal requirements for hardware performance, life, and environment. The candidate will be responsible for modeling and design documentation of mechanical systems using CAD, and supporting assembly and test processes, including performance, shock, vibration, and space environments. This position involves 100% design work.
Responsibilities
+ Design and draft spacecraft, structures, MGSE, actuators, and mechanisms.
+ Conduct parts design and analyses to meet hardware performance, life, and environmental requirements.
+ Perform modeling and design documentation of mechanical systems using CAD software.
+ Support assembly and test processes, including performance, shock, vibration, and space environments.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in SolidWorks and GD&T.
+ Experience with mechanism design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in aerospace engineering.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of North Denver, Colorado.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $72.11/hr.
