Job Title: CT TechnologistJob Description
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our dynamic team. This role involves operating CT scanners with proficiency and ensuring high-quality imaging and positioning. You will play a critical role in coordinating patient preparations and scans to ensure a seamless patient flow.
Responsibilities
+ Operate the CT scanner safely and proficiently.
+ Obtain a high standard of imaging and positioning.
+ Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.
+ Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions; be able to start an IV line to administer contrast fluids.
+ Transport patients to and from the department.
+ Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system.
Essential Skills
+ Technical or Associate’s radiography degree.
+ Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT and maintain registry while employed.
+ BLS certification.
+ Proficiency in radiology, radiologic technology, and imaging.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in X-ray and CT technologies is beneficial.
Work Environment
The position offers a Sunday to Tuesday shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am, with alternating Wednesdays. You will be working in a 656-bed hospital equipped with the latest technology, including The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute. This is a Permanent position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
Ardent benefits active first day of the month after 30 days of employment
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Tulsa,OK.
