Job Summary

Duties include the receiving and unloading of incoming materials and comparison of

Information on the packing slips while monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels

Essential Job Duties:

+ Sorts and counts packages, labels, totes, etc.

+ Operates pallet jack or forklift for unloading product

+ Receives product and places in proper location

+ Performs a physical count of inventory

+ Restocks items as necessary

+ Informs purchasing agent of low-level inventories

+ Practice all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)

+ Follows all Safe Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP’s)

+ Adhere to all safety regulations and practices

+ Maintains a safe work environment inside/outside for all associates by picking up all debris, trash and etc.

+ Wears required uniform as needed

+ Knowledge of and adheres to all state and local health requirements

+ Provides good personal hygiene

+ Performs additional duties as assigned to meet demands of daily production scheduling

+ Responsible for production quality

+ Ensure all tools and supplies needed to get the job done are available

+ Notify Lead when issues arise

+ Assures compliance with all company safety rules

+ Follow and monitor proper safety equipment usage and safety practices

+ Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Must attend work consistently

+ Good attention to detail

+ Strong communication skills

+ Display strong work ethic and positive attitude

+ Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work in cooperation with others

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

+ Production process experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

+ Standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping, crouching, kneeling intermittently

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

+ Wage Scale $18.00 - $22.00
