Description We are looking for a dedicated Procurement Specialist to join our team in Longmont, Colorado. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our procurement processes run efficiently, supporting manufacturing and government-related projects. This position requires a proactive individual with strong attention to detail and expertise in sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage purchase orders and ensure timely processing to support operational needs.

• Oversee buying processes and procurement functions to align with organizational goals.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

• Coordinate purchasing activities, including planning and materials management, to meet production schedules.

• Ensure adherence to government procurement regulations, including DFARS and AS9100 requirements.

• Work with Bill of Materials (BOM) to source and procure components for manufacturing.

• Utilize Epicor ERP and Microsoft Excel to track and manage procurement data.

• Analyze supplier requirements and performance to identify opportunities for cost savings.

• Support direct sourcing efforts to secure materials and services critical to production.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure procurement aligns with project needs and timelines. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in managing purchase orders and supplier relationships.

• Knowledge of government contracts, including DFARS regulations.

• Familiarity with AS9100 standards and their application in procurement processes.

• Experience working with Epicor ERP software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) and its role in sourcing and procurement.

• Strong organizational and planning skills to manage purchasing activities effectively.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
