Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Bedford, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth financial operations by managing invoice coding, payment processing, and other critical accounts payable functions. If you have a strong attention to detail and experience in handling payment systems, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately code and process invoices in compliance with company policies.

• Manage accounts payable operations, including Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and check runs.

• Ensure timely and accurate payment processing to vendors and suppliers.

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions to maintain financial accuracy.

• Assist in resolving discrepancies related to invoices and payments.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper account coding and financial reporting.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable activities.

• Monitor payment schedules and ensure adherence to deadlines.

• Support periodic audits by providing necessary documentation and reports. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.

• Proficiency in invoice coding and payment processing systems.

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) and check runs.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in financial operations.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and practices.
