Description We are looking for an experienced VP/Director of Finance to oversee and enhance the financial operations of our organization. This long-term contract position is based in Roseville, Minnesota, and requires a strategic leader skilled in managing budgets, financial reporting, and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting and finance, paired with the ability to guide the organization in achieving its fiscal goals.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.

• Prepare and present monthly financial reports to the board, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

• Develop and oversee annual budgets, aligning financial plans with organizational objectives.

• Track and report on grants, ensuring compliance with funding requirements.

• Conduct detailed account and bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.

• Lead the preparation of Form 990 and coordinate audit processes to meet regulatory standards.

• Monitor cash flow and create forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

• Enhance month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Requirements • A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

• Proven expertise in annual budgeting and financial reporting.

• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and cash flow forecasting.

• Demonstrated ability to manage grant tracking and reporting.

• Experience with audit preparation and compliance requirements.

• Advanced skills in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to stakeholders.
