Description We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our team in Lake Forest, California. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization by supporting key human resources functions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in payroll processing, employee engagement, and compliance while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities:

• Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, recognition, and retention to maintain a positive company culture.

• Process and manage bi-weekly payroll with precision, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

• Collaborate with leadership to design and implement HR policies, programs, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.

• Oversee the administration of employee benefits as well as onboarding and offboarding processes.

• Offer support and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and compliance-related matters.

• Maintain accurate HR records and prepare detailed reports to assist with decision-making and audits.

• Ensure compliance by staying updated on employment laws, payroll regulations, and HR best practices.

• Act as a strategic partner to leadership, contributing to initiatives that align HR practices with company goals. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or Specialist role, including payroll responsibilities.

• Proven expertise in using HRIS systems for payroll processing.

• Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, payroll regulations, and HR best practices.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize accuracy in payroll while also focusing on a positive employee experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

• HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are advantageous.

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and employee relations processes. TalentMatch®
