Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Elizabeth, New Jersey. This is a contract position, expected to last 6-8 weeks with a possibility of extension. The role requires working onsite, providing vital support in logistics operations, and ensuring smooth coordination of shipments and customer interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate shipment preparation, including creating packing lists and processing purchase orders and Bills of Lading (BOL).

• Schedule transportation services and monitor the delivery status to ensure timely arrivals.

• Manage invoicing, order tracking, and inventory using QuickBooks software.

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional service to resolve issues efficiently.

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to support customer needs and logistics operations.

• Maintain accurate records of transactions and shipping documentation.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline logistics workflows.

• Demonstrate strong communication skills and adhere to business casual attire in daily interactions.

• Assist in troubleshooting logistical challenges to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements • Previous experience in customer service or logistics is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for invoicing and inventory management.

• Solid understanding of shipping processes and related documentation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday with business casual attire.

• Adept at handling inbound and outbound calls professionally.
