    Who we’re looking for

     

    Toyota’s Digital Innovation department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated **Product Owner – Logistics Transformation** .

     

    The primary responsibility of this role is to be a Product Owner in logistics transformation programs. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Innovation, the person in this role will support the Toyota Logistics Transformation team to lead large-scale logistics transformation projects, thriving in Agile environments, and bring in a strong foundation in engineering and IT.

    What you’ll be doing

    + Act as Product Owner for logistics transformation programs including Toyota Motor Sales (TMS) modernization, real-time visibility tools, and network optimization solutions.

    + Define and prioritize product backlogs (epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria) to align with business goals.

    + Collaborate with operations, IT, external vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement logistics solutions.

    + Lead business process mapping, route studies, solution design sessions, and impact analyses to identify efficiency opportunities.

    + Partner with transformation and business strategy teams to transition from legacy systems to innovative digital platforms.

    + Lead multi-phase supply chain and logistics transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

    + Define project scope, establish governance frameworks, and manage risks, dependencies, and change control across enterprise programs.

    What you bring

    + Bachelors Degree in Engineering, IT or similar field

    + Experience in system and process transformation

    + Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Transformation Lead within supply chain or logistics.

    + Expertise in logistics systems including execution, tracking, business partner management tools.

    + Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

    + Excellent skills in stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and cross-functional communication.

    + Ability to analyze operations, identify gaps, and deliver technology-driven solutions.

    Added Bonus if you have

    + Transportation Management/logistics or finished vehicle distribution experience.

    + Strong data and reporting capabilities using Power BI, Tableau, or automation tools.

    + Exposure to emerging supply chain technologies (AI, RPA, Power Apps).
