*TEKsystems' client is seeking a Network/Systems Admin to be their lead IT Network Support Engineer onsite. Must have strong networking skills, systems administration and comfortable troubleshooting end-user issues in absence of Support team WHEN NECCESSARY*

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Infrastructure Management

• Manage and maintain the facility’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.

• Ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems, including servers, storage, and backup systems.

• Coordinate with internal team or third-party vendors for the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of IT hardware and software.

Support and Troubleshooting

• Provide support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

• Respond to and resolve IT support requests in a timely manner, minimizing disruptions to manufacturing operations. ·

Conduct root-cause analysis to prevent recurring technical problems.

Project Management

• Lead and execute IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and implementations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and develop solutions that align with business goals.

• Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in network administration (LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, etc.).

• Experience with Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, and Office 365 administration.

Experience with Rack and Stacking - able to view a closet and install servers, cables, routers/switches.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
