Department Summary

Our Wireless Technology team is pioneering the future of connectivity. We're developing and enhancing a unique hybrid network model—combining our advanced, cloud-native 5G core with the nationwide reach of our partners. Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

+ Deploying, maintaining, and managing systems supporting the network infrastructure composed of diverse technologies like Linux, Windows, AWS, VMware, and databases.

+ Focusing on enhancing system reliability, performance, and security through monitoring, logging, and tracing.

+ Translating high-level business requirements into technical project plans and maintaining high-level (HLD) and low-level (LLD) designs for systems.

+ Contributing to the development of automation requirements for systems deployments, software lifecycle management, and operations support.

+ Applying networking knowledge for seamless infrastructure communication.

+ Actively participating in incident management, ensuring rapid response and recovery in case of system failures or outages.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience

+ 7+ years experience with systems engineering responsibilities supporting Linux, Windows, AWS, VMware, and database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo, and Redis).

Technical Skills

+ Proven system engineering and administration experience.

+ Solid networking knowledge including IP fundamentals, and experience with use of DHCP and DNS network services.

+ Practical experience supporting implementation and support of Infoblox NIOS DHCP/DNS/IPAM (DDI) products and features.

+ Automation experience supporting systems administration, not limited to Ansible, Shell scripting and/or Python scripting to perform standard operations.

+ Experience with various Fault/Performance management systems (Solarwinds, Splunk, Cisco Vitria Via AIOps, Cisco Matrix).

+ Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes, AWS EKS).

+ Experience with CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI

+ Experinece with Ticketing platforms: HP, JIRA, Remedy, QC-ALM, Rally

Soft Skills

+ Strong problem-solving, time management, and multitasking skills.

+ Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability to new technologies.

+ Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects concurrently, with competing priorities and periodic interruptions.

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $145,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
