    Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic–(DOE -F)

     

    Job Summary:** EMCOR Government Services is seeking a **Maintenance Mechanic** in **Washington, DC. The Scheduled hours are: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Performs maintenance and repairs to all equipment under the direct supervision of the Lead Building Engineer.

    + Performs other duties as required or directed by the shift lead or manager on duty

    Qualifications:

    + **Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic**

    + **Must possess and maintain a CFC certification**

    + Must be familiar with hand and power tools.

    + Candidate must be a team player and be willing to assist other crafts to accomplish service tickets and preventative maintenance.

    + **Must be able and willing to work a schedule of Monday - Friday 7:00 - 3pm**

     

    Work Environment

     

    Work environment may be dirty and greasy and clean-up of projects and mechanical spaces will be required on a routine basis. Works with systems and equipment in hard to reach places

    Physical Demands

    + Work requires an abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, standing, stooping, and climbing in tight and uncomfortable positions
