    Seasonal Strategy: Own and execute the seasonal merchandising strategy for Kids Footwear across our Direct-to-Consumer channels, with a primary focus on digital commerce.

     

    Assortment Planning: Develop cohesive, consumer-centric assortment plans that align with broader company strategies and complement other categories (gender, brand, etc.).

     

    Data-Informed Decisions: Utilize a blend of historical data, analytics, consumer insights, and real-time market feedback to inform and adapt assortment strategies across multiple seasons.

     

    In-Season Optimization: Actively participate in seasonal buy reviews and manage in-season product performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize sales, margin, and inventory.

     

    Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with key partners in Planning, Allocation, Digital Commerce, and Brand Marketing to ensure a seamless and successful execution of the seasonal vision.

     

    Process Management: Manage the end-to-end merchandising process, from assortment building and systems entry to partnering with allocation for optimal inventory flow.

    Who You Will Work With:

    You will be a central hub of collaboration, working daily with fellow merchants, buyers, and cross-functional teams within our Direct organization. Your key partners will include Digital & Store Buying, Consumer Merchandising, Planning, Allocation, Visual Merchandising, Brand Marketing, Finance, and Operations. You will report to the North America Direct Merchandising Director.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.

     

    In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of relevant experience in a product-related or retail role.

     

    Proven experience in footwear, apparel, equipment, or relevant consumer product merchandising.

     

    Strong understanding of key retail and digital profit-based metrics (e.g., sell-through, margin, AUR, UPT).

     

    Demonstrated ability to translate strategic thinking into actionable merchandising plans.

     

    Proficiency in using consumer data and analytics to build compelling assortments.

     

    Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders in large forums.

     

    Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and react to business and consumer trends.

     

    Experience with project management and seeing initiatives through from concept to completion.
