**VCA Ark Animal Hospital** is a well-established companion animal practice is dedicated to providing **comprehensive, lifelong care** —from first exams to senior wellness. We’re seeking a **Certified Veterinary Technician** who shares our commitment to excellence and compassionate care.

**Schedule:** FT with rotating Saturdays

**Compensation:** **$ 24 - $ 25 / hour.** Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.

What You’ll Do:

+ Provide **compassionate, high-quality patient care** through all life stages.

+ Perform **technical skills** including anesthesia monitoring, radiology, phlebotomy, and dentistry.

+ Support DVMs in **diagnostic and treatment plans** , including advanced procedures.

+ Educate clients on **preventative care and treatment options** .

+ Contribute to a **positive, team-focused hospital culture** .

What We’re Looking For:

+ **Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or eligible** for licensure.

+ Passion for **patient advocacy, client education, and teamwork** .

+ Strong technical skills and willingness to **learn and grow** .

**VCA Ark** has been part of the Avondale, Chicago community since 2003. Our hospital has been **AAHA-certified** since 2007 and practices low-stress and fear-free techniques. We offer routine services from wellness care to surgical and dental procedures. We also offer more advanced procedures such as an on-call surgeon for orthopedics and cold laser therapy.
