    Minimum qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

    + 6 years of experience in power management or power design/methodology.

    + 6 years of experience in development, testing, and deployment for Android BSP.

    + Experience in system modeling and performance optimization.

    + Experience with Embedded Processors.

    Preferred qualifications:

    + Experience with mobile phone hardware subsystems, including application processor, multimedia, GPU, modem and wi-fi.

    + Experience with improving software for power and performance improvements.

    + Knowledge of embedded software system design.

    + Knowledge of Linux kernel and Android system.

    + Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$258,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     Responsibilities

    + Work with cross-functional hardware and software teams to model power consumption.

    + Analyze and improve the software running across the key components of the chipset SoC like CPU, GPU, Memory Subsystem and Connectivity.

    + Debug and resolve battery drain issues.

    + Collaborate with Android app teams across Google to help them improve power.

    + Develop tools and tests for validating and monitoring power consumption.
