    Full-time Lunch and Dinner COOK Come join our Amazing Team….. The Village at Proprietors Green (VPG) is a well-established (149-unit) Luxury Apartment Senior Living Community offering a continuum of Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care apartments in Marshfield MA with a strong reputation of caring and empathy. We are part of Welch Senior Living, a family-owned provider of Senior services for over 75 years. We are seeking a Breakfast and Lunch COOK who is dependable, warm and empathetic and with a willingness to work as a collaborative team member.

     

    This is Full-time (40 hour) position: Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 10:30am to 7pm and Saturday and Sunday from 6am to 2:30pm, reporting to the Executive Chef.

    Overview:

    Prepares and cooks menu items to a set standard in a fast-paced kitchen environment, managing stations while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace ensuring food quality and presentation meet food safety requirements.

    Key Duties:

    Setting up workstations, prepping ingredients, cooking a variety of dishes using different techniques, monitoring food quality while ensuring timely service and Resident satisfaction, plating dishes, and cleaning equipment and areas after each shift.

     

    Must have food service training with at least 2 to 3 years of previous food service experience in a Restaurant, Assisted Living or Health related facility. A knowledge of food handling, storage and sanitation.
