Position: Prevention Education Specialist

Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Occasional evenings/Saturdays for community events

Grant-funded position

UPMC Partnership is seeking a passionate and motivated Prevention Education Specialist to join our team and make a lasting difference in the lives of youth across Tioga County. What You'll Do:

+ Deliver evidence-based drug and alcohol prevention education in local schools.

+ Collaborate with school teams through the Student Assistance Program (SAP) to support at-risk students.

+ Represent UPMC at community events, sharing resources and building awareness.

+ Participate in the Communities That Care workgroup to strengthen local prevention efforts.

+ Build relationships with school administrators and become certified in selected curricula.

+ Ensure quality and safety in all aspects of your work, and contribute to a culture of excellence.

What We're Looking For:

+ Excited to work with youth and make a positive impact.

+ Organized, flexible, and a team player.

+ Comfortable speaking in front of groups and adapting to different classroom environments.

Education:

Bachelor's degree required (fields like Education, Social Work, Psychology, or related field). .

Experience:

Prior teaching or youth engagement experience is a plus. Two years of public speaking and effective project management experience are required.
