Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Behavioral Classroom Aide. The Behavioral Classroom Aide provides behavioral support services in the school setting.

Minimum Requirements:

+ High School diploma or its equivalent.

+ Active Illinois Paraprofessional license required

+ Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

+ Current Health Certificate (if applicable)

+ Current CPR card.

+ Current TB Skin test or Chest X-ray

Modality:

Behavior Interventionist

Grade Level:

K - 12th grade available

Caseload details:

Push in/hands on support for classroom staff in the areas of de-escalation and restorative practices

Monitoring behaviors in the classroom, aiding to the classroom behavior management plans during lessons and documentation of behaviors

Start/End date:

ASAP - EOY

Start/End time:

7:00am-3:00pm
