    ABOUT THE ROLE

    This position reports to the Electrical Supervisor. All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. The primary objective of this position is to perform electrical /maintenance processes through the proper installation, repair and preventative maintenance of plant equipment.

    WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

    + Safely perform simple to complex electrical repairs and installs within a manufacturing setting.

    + Responsible for planning jobs as needed.

    + Responsible for electrical design and installation.

    + Documents new and existing electrical installations as needed.

    + Repairs critical equipment with available parts.

    + Installs, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment.

    + Troubleshoots and repairs PLC and HMI systems.

    + Ensures compliance with internal control procedures, unwarranted deviations from established standards, and violations of policy or law.

    + Ability to work independently, self-starter, yet able to participate within a team environment.

    + Ability to operate equipment effectively.

    + Must be able to complete required training.

    + Must be able to communicate to multiple levels within the organization.

    + Must keep all company property in good working order and clean.

    + Must understand equipment functions and processes of the primary areas.

    + Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    **Required Education:** Associate's degree in the electrical or electronics field, or 5+ years of equivalent training or experience.

    **Required Work Experience:** 5+ years

    **Required License:** Current electrical journeyman

    Additional Requirements:

    + Working knowledge of PLC programming, experience with CTI 505 and Allen-Bradley PLCs is preferred.

    + Knowledge of HMI programming is preferred.

    + Electrical and mechanical skills are required.

    + Good communication skills, both written and oral.

    + Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
