    Eliassen Group is seeking a versatile and infrastructure-focused IT Project Manager with 5–7 years of experience to join a dynamic and fast-paced team on a long-term contract basis. This role will manage a mix of infrastructure, application development, and disaster recovery projects, adapting quickly to evolving business needs.

     

    This is a mid-level role ideal for a self-starter who thrives in an unstructured environment and can seamlessly shift between initiatives.

     

    _Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._

     

    _Rate: $55-65/ hr. w2_

    Responsibilities:

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead and deliver infrastructure, disaster recovery, and app dev projects across multiple departments.

    + Collaborate with IT, business teams (Operations, Asset Protection, Finance, Procurement), and external vendors.

    + Manage project timelines, scope, and deliverables using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.

    + Create and manage project documentation, including RFPs, RFIs, budgets, and estimates.

    + Coordinate procurement and implementation of hardware/software solutions.

    + Maintain awareness of current technologies, including Linux upgrades, asset protection systems, and AI initiatives (early-stage exploration).

    Experience Requirements:

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    + 5–7 years of IT project management experience, ideally with a strong infrastructure background.

    + Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution.

    + Comfortable shifting between Infrastructure and Application Development projects on short notice.

    + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

    + Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight in a fast-moving, unstructured environment.

    + Open-minded, flexible, and comfortable with ambiguity and change.

    + Experience working with cross-functional teams in mid-sized, collaborative organizations (not heavily siloed enterprise environments).

    Technical Environment & Tools

    + Project Tools: Jira, Asana, Google Sheets (flexible – use what works)

    + Communication: Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.) – minimal use of Microsoft Office

    + Exposure to or interest in AI initiatives and custom agent technologies a plus

    + Familiarity with infrastructure topics such as Linux, hardware rollouts, system upgrades, and enterprise software tools

    + Not afraid to ask questions, build relationships, and dive into unknowns

    + Must be able to pivot quickly and take ownership

    + Strong communicator — clear, concise, and able to avoid long-winded explanations

    + Someone who wants to grow with the team, not just fill a seat

     

    _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
