• Junior Data Solutions Engineer

    Job Description

    One of Insight Global’s clients is looking for a Junior Data Solutions Engineer to join their growing team. The primary purpose of this role is to work as part of a multidisciplinary Agile team to create and maintain mission-critical data management, financial and analytics systems. This involves providing strong foundational technical skills and engaging directly in backlog management, release planning, analysis, modeling, design, implementation, delivery, and support activities. The Data Solutions Engineer contributes to solution delivery by acting both collaboratively and strategically. This includes engaging directly with stakeholders to understand, elaborate, and prioritize objectives within roadmap and blueprint frameworks to deliver effective, risk-managed solution releases. Candidates must be able to go onsite in West Chester, PA 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

    Compensation:

    $30/hr to $35/hr.

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

     

    - Prior IT internship experience (financial industry is a major plus)

     

    - Exposure to SQL database and queries (should be able to give them a scenario and have them write a query from scratch)

     

    - Hands-on experience Python programming

     

    - AWS experience

     

    - Strong desire to learn more about the insurance and financial services space - Agile experience
