Job Description
- Design and develop graphics focused systems, processes, tooling to validate, prototype, and implement new capabilities in partnership with cross functional teams.
- Implement runtime logic, tooling within a complex real-time environment with performance limitations in mind.
- Optimize content through enhancing performance and instructing the artists and designers on asset creation, modeling and texturing best practices.
- Analyze project timelines and resource allocation, proposing adjustments to optimize production schedules through technology and process enhancements.
- Document workflows, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across teams.
- Communicate and advocate for the technical system’s role in building a platform that serves billions of users.
- Consistently give and take constructive feedback, direct next steps, and communicate clear goals and outcomes to your team.

Skills and Requirements
- 6+ years of experience developing graphics focused features & systems in a real-time environment across various products
- Experience in at least one low-level programming language (i.e. C++).
- Understanding of architecture for complex tools and pipelines with a focus on content creators.
- Expertise with game/real-time profiling and optimization techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in communicating technical topics to non technical partners. - Proven experience with real-time rendering pipelines (deferred vs forward rendering, PBR, lighting, post-processing).
- Proven experience of modern game engines (Unreal, Unity, or proprietary) and their rendering subsystems.
- In depth knowledge of HLSL/GLSL shader authoring and debugging, including optimization for different platforms (console, PC, mobile, VR).
- Experience with GPU performance profiling and optimization (PIX, RenderDoc, NSight, etc.).
- Proven experience of graphics APIs (DirectX, Vulkan, Metal, OpenGL).
- Proven experience to bridge between artistic goals and engineering constraints—ensuring visual fidelity without compromising performance.
- Experience working hand-in-hand with graphics/engine programmers on rendering features, tools, and performance improvements.
- Proven mentorship and leadership skills, supporting technical artists and content creators.
- Proven experience to own features end-to-end, from prototype to ship.
