Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Collections Manager to oversee the collection activities for Homeowners Associations (HOAs) in compliance with Nevada state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage daily operations of the HOA collections department.
Ensure compliance with Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) Chapter 649, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and internal policies.
Oversee trust account management and ensure accurate reconciliation and reporting.
Develop and implement collection strategies to maximize recovery while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
Maintain accurate records of communications, payments, and legal actions.
Collaborate with legal counsel on escalated accounts and litigation.
Train and mentor collection agents on compliance, customer service, and performance goals.
Prepare reports for senior management on collection performance and compliance metrics.

Skills and Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Nevada FID Compliance and Collections Manager Certification:
Must hold a valid Manager’s Certificate issued by the Nevada Financial Institutions Division (FID)
Experience in collections, preferably in HOA or property management.
Strong knowledge of Nevada collection laws and HOA governance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in collection software and Microsoft Office Suite.
