• Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics GP) Engineer

    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global, and a leader in the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking a skilled Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics GP) Platform Engineer to lead the administration, integration, and optimization of our Microsoft Dynamics GP environment.

     

    This role involves managing ERP systems, supporting data migration efforts, and developing reporting and automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    -Administer and maintain Microsoft Dynamics GP 18 and related applications.

     

    -Lead integration of multiple systems into the GP platform and sunset legacy tools.

     

    -Manage Panatrack and PostMaster barcode/inventory integrations.

     

    -Oversee platform architecture, ticketing systems, and security patching.

     

    -Conduct needs analysis for expense reporting and API integration.

     

    -Build SSRS and Power BI reports for operational insights.

     

    -Enforce access control and business logic filtering.

     

    This is a contract to hire opportunity paying between $50-$60/hr and requires ability to work on site 5x per week in Kearney, NE. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.     Skills and Requirements

     

    -Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP 18.

     

    -Strong SQL and SSRS reporting skills.

     

    -Proficiency in API interfaces and application development.

     

    -Understanding of Bill of Materials (materials, labor, overhead).

     

    -Experience with Panatrack and PostMaster systems.

     

    -Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. -Migrate legacy data into modern platforms

     

    -Conduct needs analysis for expense reporting tools

     

    -Evaluate API connectors and integration options

     

    -Build Power BI reports
