    Job Description

    Insight Global is searching for a Network Engineer for a Healthcare employer in the Baltimore, MD area. This person will administer and install telephony servers and applications, network application servers, network routers and switches, data security, wireless networks and disaster recovery protocol activities. This position autonomously develops and/or assists in developing recommendations for new and/or upgraded hardware/software and/or other Engineer resources needed for efficiency, growth, and control. This position, in collaboration with another Network Engineer II, takes the lead on monitoring and resolving issues as they arise within the data and telephony network. This position will be primarily onsite 5 days a week with the opportunity to move to a hybrid model after the first 6-9 months.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - At least seven years of experience in Network Engineering with a focus on computer, security, IP telephony, or network trouble resolution

     

    - Hands-on experience implementing Cisco technologies, including Enterprise Routing and Switching, Wireless, and Network Security.

     

    - Strong experience working with Cisco 9800 series wireless controllers

     

    - Strong experience with Cisco 9300/9500 switches

     

    - Strong experience with EIGRP routing protocol - Experience supporting a healthcare environment

     

    - Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification

     

    - Cisco ISE Experience

     

    - Experience with BGP and/or OSPF Routing protocols

     

    - Experience working with FortiNet FortiGate firewalls
