    POSITION SUMMARY:

    We are currently looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician able to perform inspections, repairs, installations and maintenance on buildings electrical, plumbing, and phone/data infrastructure equipment. Responsibilities include providing in-house customer support for facility related work orders regarding electrical, plumbing, phone/data, or office furniture reconfigurations. Performs necessary clerical duties associated with job and is able to read blueprints. Position requires knowledge in the procedures and safety measures applicable in all areas of job requirements. Position requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the facility maintenance field. Position works under limited supervision.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Perform repairs, inspections, installations, modifications, design, and maintenance on facility infrastructure equipment, electrical, plumbing, and gas or water systems

    + Assemble and reconfigure office furniture systems

    + Orders parts/supplies necessary to complete maintenance projects

    + Maintains company vehicles, which includes keeping vehicles clean, filled with gas, oil changed, and emissions tested.

    + Works with Facilities team in setting schedules for work orders.

    + Provides general maintenance tasks such as keying doors, hanging white boards, patching and painting walls, replacing floor tiles, sidewalk snow removal, etc

    + Works under limited supervision

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    + Industrial maintenance

    + Weekend work and over-time may be necessary

    + Work in various outdoor conditions, cold, hot, rain, or snow

    + First Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

    + Second Shift: Tuesday through Saturday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm (+15% differential)

    QUALIFICATIONS** **:

    + Ability to perform tasks requiring knowledge in different trades

    + Good troubleshooting skills

    + Good communication skills, written and oral

    + General maintenance knowledge

    + Ability to read blueprints

    + Primary job functions will require exercising independent judgment

    + Creativity and independence is expected

    + Requires employee to perform a variety of complicated tasks

    + Auto CAD experience a plus

    + Operate multiple hand and power tools

    + Extremely customer orientated

    + Perform general building maintenance

    + Have the ability to lift heavy objects

    + Ability to crouch, bend, twist while working

    EXPERIENCE:

    + 2+ years’ experience as a facility maintenance technician - desired

    EDUCATION:

    + High School or equivalent

    COMPENSATION:

    _As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $19 to $25 per hour. Employees working second shift are eligible for a 15% shift differential added to base pay rate._
