    Colibrium Additive – part of GE Aerospace (NYSE: GE) – is a world leader in metal additive design and manufacturing, a pioneering process that has the power and potential to transform businesses.     Essential Responsibilities:

    + Work in a hands-on environment to support machine, customer application, material and process development activities.

    + Collaborate and coordinate with team members to execute engineering activities aligned with business priorities.

    + Perform data acquisition, analysis and prepare results of technical evaluations of application, material, process or machine performance.

    + Ensure documentation is consistent with engineering policies and procedures.

    + Provide and present reports of findings to the team and leadership.

    Qualifications:

    + Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program at an accredited university. Degrees focused on Mechanical, Electrical, Material Sciences, Computer Sciences or other relevant STEM majors.

    + Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA off a 4.0 scale without rounding.

    Eligibility Requirements:

    Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

    Desired Characteristics:

    + Strong commitment to a career in technology and an aptitude for additive technologies

    + Working knowledge of Additive technologies and applications

    + Problem solver with an interest to understand unfamiliar technical areas

    + Experience with CAD, analysis, or other technical software and tools

    + Excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to articulate clearly

    Benefits:

    Pay rates for this position begin at $20/hour and increase for each undergraduate year completed. Relocation support and housing assistance is available for those who relocate to a new city.

     

    _This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, for applicants who are not U.S. lawful permanent residents, U.S. Citizens, or have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., not a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), otherwise known as a U.S. Person), employment will be contingent on the ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government._
