    Overview

    Skills & Experience

    + 7-10 years of professional experience in backend and microservices development.

    + Proven expertise in Java, with strong command of Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks.

    + Deep understanding of microservices architecture, including service discovery, API gateways, circuit breakers, and distributed tracing.

    + Solid experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.

    + Proficiency in building stored procedures and working with relational databases (DB2, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL).

    + Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) for asynchronous communication. · Hands-on experience with Git for version control.

    + **Proven experience applying Generative AI to:**

    + **Legacy application modernization** – migrating monolithic applications to microservices architecture using AI-assisted code analysis, refactoring, and migration strategies

    + **Accelerating development workflows** – leveraging AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, or similar) for code generation, unit test creation, API design, and documentation

    + **Automating code transformation** – using Gen AI for converting legacy code patterns (Cobol or similar) to modern frameworks and best practices

    + **Building AI agents** – designing and implementing autonomous agents for development tasks (code review, test generation, bug detection) using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI

    + **Agentic AI workflows** – creating multi-agent systems for complex development tasks using orchestration platforms such as LangGraph, or custom workflow engines

    + Strong experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration.

    + Proficiency with build tools (Maven, Gradle).

    + Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).

    + Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native development patterns.

    + Experience with API management platforms and service mesh technologies.

    + Familiarity with vector databases for RAG implementations.

    + Experience with prompt engineering and LLM integration (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Anthropic Claude)

    + Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

     

    Additional information

     

    Pay Range: $105,000 - 145,000

     

    The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
