The Contracts & Warranty Services Manager is primarily responsible for leading the warranty administration activities, receiving, reviewing and negotiating claims (warranty, labor, remedies and penalties) and negotiating settlements that meet or exceed company objectives. This position will report to the Director of Program Support & Services.
This position contributes to our vision by:
Warranty Administration
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure complete, accurate, and timely responses to customer claims with quick turn-around requirements (acknowledgement, time to close),
• Prepare cost estimations and proposals
• Prepare documentation for internal review and act as focal point of contact between Safran and the customer
• Lead commercial negotiations to reach agreements that meet or reduce company liability, and meet or exceed company profitability targets
• Ensure customer claims accurately reflect negotiated counters, terms and conditions,
• Identify out-of-scope work and resolve open claims with the customer
• Provide solution-oriented inputs to the Accounting management regarding allocation of charges and chargeback / re-allocation to other SAFRAN sites
• Work with Accounting to build forecast of accruals and provisions
Contract support
• Support contract reviews, when new Agreements are to be developed, or existing ones are re-negotiated,
• Analyze and communicate contract requirements to the program team and internal management,
• Provide visibility to program team members on core contractual requirements, terms and conditions

Candidate skills & requirements
Education: BS in Business Administration or equivalent
Experience: 5+ years of experience in aerospace warranty administration, contracts or sales proposal field is required. Experience in commercial aircraft interior or equivalent experience is required.
Computer Skill: Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; must be able to construct graphs and pivot tables for KPI purposes. Knowledge and understanding of Customer Relation Management tool (CRM) is required. Knowledge and understanding of basic MRP functions and applications is required.
Other Skills: Strong written and verbal skills and be able to analyze and evaluate business proposals. Experience in commercial negotiation is highly preferred.
