**Description:** What You Will Be Doing

Working under general supervision and guidance, the candidate will utilize risk tools for early identification of risk and implement mitigation planning and develop course of action plans as required\. The candidate will oversee and streamline the documentation of risks in the GSC risk register tools to ensure risks are tracked for closure\. The candidate will engage with buyers and the broader supply chain to conduct appropriate levels of risk mitigation steps needed for specific suppliers and may support, organize, and help facilitate continuous mitigation activities to reduce risk to the various programs\. The candidate will evaluate risk, issue and opportunity items with critical thinking to make recommendations to resolve any Risk, Issue, & Opportunity items brought forward for resolution\.

The candidate will need to have the skills and abilities to complete the individual tasks and projects assigned and communicate status to the team and various levels of leadership\. The candidate will also prepare industry risk analysis including commodity assessments, financial risk investigations, white papers, and status visually compelling presentations to management\.

Candidate must have strong collaboration and teaming skills, ability to formulate effective risk mitigations, and ability to integrate with cross functional teams to achieve results\. The candidate will also participate as a contributor to the monthly Risk Management Board reviews\.

The candidate may perform other related duties and assignments including documenting standard work and cross collaboration between the internal supplier performance teams\.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

• Project management including status, milestone management and coordination with buying org for Supplier Risk surveillance

• Problem Solving, Collaboration, Active listening

• Familiarity with Global Supply Chain Tools and Processes, specifically Buyer/Supplier Management to best support buyer\-identified supplier risks

• Operational Excellence acumen; understanding of concepts to support problem solving and risk mitigation

• Familiarity with Supplier Financial Risk assessments and follow\-on activities

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated Presentation/Influencer Skillset to include Written/Verbal Communications; Functional Spokesperson

• Ability to Self\-Initiate on Emerging Challenges, Develop Durable Resolutions to Support Aero100 Objectives

• Leverage Creative Problem Solving, Industry Benchmark Knowledge and Best Practices

• Internal Review/Audit of Processes, Command Media Alignment

• Active listening, Can Operate with Minimal Direction

• Familiarity with GSC Tools and Processes, Supplier Relationships

• Familiarity with Supplier Financial Risk, Issue, & Opportunity Management

• Development of Mechanisms using Operational Excellence Concepts to Support Problem Solving and Risk Mitigation

• Robust Data Analytics Tools \(\.xlsx, Tableau\) Knowledge

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
