Day- Monday- Friday, 3 days in office, 2 days remote (Charlotte, Winston-Salem and or Wilmington, NC)
We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Analyst Sr as part of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The candidate will plays a critical role in supporting the long-term financial health and strategic decision-making of Novant Health. This position is responsible for managing multi-year financial models, supporting capital planning and allocation, coordinating debt portfolio reporting, and delivering executive-level analysis and presentations. The role requires strong financial acumen, the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights, and a collaborative mindset to partner across finance and operational leadership.
Key responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Analysis; Executive & Board Support; Systems & Data Management. Seeking someone with strong Excel skill. Looking for someone who has experience with income statements and balance sheets. A person with a charterholder CFA is a plus.
Qualifications
+ Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Graduate Degree, preferred. MBA/MHA.
+ Experience: Experience in financial planning, analysis, or healthcare finance, rquired.
+ Licensure/Certification: Progress towards or completion of CPA/CFA or other quantitative/analytical credentials, preferred.
+ Additional Skills (required): Documented analytical skills: must be able to absorb, interpret and synthesize large amounts of data; formulate and present sound business conclusions; Financial acumen and general business savvy: strong financial skills and commitment to advancing Novant's strategic, operational and financial goals; attention to detail in both analysis and presentation of assigned projects; Excellent communication skills: must be able to identify real issues and be adept at presenting his/her ideas orally and in writing; Proven ability to work collaboratively within an organization; exceptional interpersonal skills; highly professional demeanor; confidence to ask questions and seek the right person and information to resolve complex issues; High energy level: someone who understands the urgency of meeting the organization's needs; a proactive style and ability to manage uncertainty. Ability to drive and travel between campus buildings, remote facilities and out of town.
