Responsibilities
Full Time - Second Shift
POSITION SUMMARY:
Are you a strong leader with a passion for food manufacturing and team development? As a **Production Supervisor** , you’ll oversee a dedicated team responsible for production and sanitation tasks, ensuring operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll coordinate resources, manage personnel, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.
This role is ideal for someone with strong people management skills, operational knowledge, and a data-driven mindset. You’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Lead and support team members in safety, food safety, operations, sanitation, and professional development.
+ Maintain a safe and healthy workplace by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
+ Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold company standards at all times.
+ Communicate operational updates, safety concerns, quality issues, and cost control measures to management.
+ Produce high-quality products efficiently and cost-effectively, following good manufacturing practices.
+ Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions.
+ Coordinate with maintenance, sanitation, and other departments to meet production and cleanliness goals.
+ Manage ingredient and packaging usage, and monitor departmental costs.
+ Encourage employee suggestions to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
+ Participate in plant safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
+ Foster collaboration across departments to maintain a coordinated workflow.
+ Enforce company policies fairly and consistently.
+ Lead meetings and maintain clear, consistent communication with team members.
+ Develop team skills and performance standards through training and coaching.
+ Promote individual accountability for safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
+ Maintain accurate records including timekeeping, downtime, and attendance.
+ Be available to work overtime or weekends as needed.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
+ 2–3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
+ Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
+ Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required.
+ Bilingual skills are a plus.
+ Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
+ Comfortable presenting information in both one-on-one and group settings.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret various instructions.
+ Ability to learn and use technology systems effectively.
