As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles the world expects from us. Within our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. That means we’re continually seeking diligent, determined performers who think outside the box to help us find better and more efficient ways to manufacture our vehicles.

    What you'll do...

+ **Drive Strategic Optimization:** Dive deep into current and future warehouse operations to analyze efficiency, measure performance against targets, and develop a 5-year strategy to optimize Ford's North American warehouse footprint.

+ **Spearhead Cost-Saving Initiatives:** Identify and lead the development of cost-saving opportunities within warehousing and material flow, ensuring the Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L) organization meets its annual cost efficiency goals.

+ **Support Future Vehicle Programs:** Collaborate with New Model Launch, Manufacturing Engineering, and plant teams to provide critical cost and operational impact analysis for new vehicle programs and capacity expansions.

+ **Enhance Process Efficiency:** Partner with Product Development to drive vehicle complexity reductions that translate directly to warehouse cost savings, and conduct competitive benchmarking to ensure Ford's processes are best-in-class.

+ **Provide Hands-On Plant Support:** Travel to our Vehicle and Powertrain Operations plants (up to 50%) to provide expert, on-the-ground support to local teams, resolving material flow challenges and implementing Ford Production System (FPS) standards.

+ **Implement Key Supply Chain Strategies:** Drive the execution of critical efficiency initiatives with Supply Chain partners, focusing on sequencing, packaging optimization, and critical parts inventory strategy.

    You'll have...

+ A bachelor's degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

+ Proven ability to work as a self-starter in a dynamic, unstructured environment where priorities can change quickly.

+ Experience with logistics systems such as a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), SMART, and PFEP-PRO (Plan For Every Part).

+ The ability and willingness to support up to 40% travel.

    Even better, you may have…

    + A master's degree in a relevant field.

+ 10+ years of progressive experience within MP&L, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.

+ Direct experience managing or optimizing third-party (3PL) warehouse operations.

+ Prior experience in a formal leadership role.

+ Advanced data analytics skills (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau).

+ Experience with Ford's Industrial Engineering processes and simulation tools (e.g., Pro Planner, FlexSim).

You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
