Job Description:

+ This role will focus on designing and enhancing user experiences for a growing suite of first-party daily and arcade games (similar to NYT Games, Apple Arcade, Netflix Games).

+ You will be the dedicated UX voice on a multidisciplinary team of game designers, artists, illustrators, and animators. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of how to design cross-game systems and flows — such as profiles, leaderboards, streaks, and navigation — in addition to creating engaging individual game experiences.

Responsibilities:

+ Own UX design for Clinet’s daily/arcade gaming platform, covering both desktop and mobile entry points.

+ Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mocks in Figma.

+ Design and refine features like leaderboards, multiplayer flows, daily streaks, and cross-game navigation.

+ Define and maintain design systems aligned with Material Design and Search ecosystem guidelines.

+ Partner closely with non-UX creatives (artists, illustrators, animators) to bring cohesive user experiences to life.

+ Iterate on existing MVP arcade platform, enhancing user profiles, stats, and community features.

+ Present and communicate design decisions effectively to stakeholders.

Experience (Mandatory):

+ 5+ years of UX design experience, with at least some background in gaming UX.

+ Portfolio showcasing UX work on daily, puzzle, arcade, or casual games (not just single large AAA titles).

+ Strong proficiency in Figma for creating prototypes, specs, and design systems.

+ Demonstrated ability to design multi-game ecosystems (e.g., profiles, leaderboards, marketplaces, or community features).

+ Solid understanding of information architecture for organizing scores, data, and stats.

+ Proven ability to work independently as the sole UX designer on a cross-functional creative team.

Experience (Desired):

+ Visual design skills (hybrid UX + visual designer).

+ Familiarity with After Effects, Photoshop, or motion design.

+ Awareness of gaming industry trends across genres (puzzle, arcade, multiplayer, etc.).

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
